LOL So their grand plan to get rid of the FATE system is to add more content to the FATEs? You are quite confused.
oh yes 2.2 has cost my sanity for so many nubs who eat aoe and dun know a clue bout playin their class were flooding the farms
The only thing we need to keep players busy after clearing weekly pve is either... Decent pvp or... More pve. Which will add up overtime.
Patience people.
This is not a game to play hardcore for hours after hours.
Market advantages? How often are you using all FOURTY of your initial market slots? Hell I barely use twenty at any given time.
Mass grinding? Are you new to this game, because the entire thing has been built upon grinding content over and over and people have been living with it so far. Complaining about new grind based content is like complaining that your water is too wet.
Severe lag? They just reworked how the servers handle instances, did you think they were going to be in 100% condition without a bit of tuning once they were put into action?
Severe nerfs? Were you really enjoying the massive difficulty that was running AK that it's pitiful state now sends you into tears?
Atma is not something you're supposed to bum rush in a day. It doesn't even give stats until you invest a lot of myth into it. Atma/animus is literally poop and you're just supposed to work on it on the side until 2.25 where they expand it into some other turd that's still not as good as your soldiery weapon would be.
There's a lot of other shit to do, if you just want an i100 weapon go kill leviathan a bunch. If you aren't good enough to kill Levi, or haven't cleared titan to unlock it then you really shouldn't be worrying about any end game gear yet.
Vanity gear was the only thing that would make me easily stay.
Grinding for that unique look and mix and match to get that perfect look that would set u aside from the others cuz..... That's the whole point of glamours!
It made my character so fun to look at cuz while everyone is in af/ coil/ DoW/ DoM gear ; u'd see a whm in a sailor top with a flowery hat that looked like some girl from an anime.
Every group i ran with since day 1 of patch all said it looks really neat and cool etc!
So imo SE is doing a great job in the looks department!
Jesus, idk y ppl r so upset about atma. I rather be hit with this rng than coil rng cuz at least fates r easy, short, and can be solo'd etc.
But coil requires 8 competent ppl
To work together and beat the turn that will rng drop loot.
Sooooooo pick ur poison and live with it cuz either way ur going to get a bad ass weapon sooner or later!
I would agree that patch 2.2 marks a significant change in the game, but I would disagree that it's for the worse. On a personal level it's going to make me have to streamline my game, whereas before I could dabble in a bit of everything I will now have to decide which parts of the game matter to me the most and excel at those. I think we're going to have a far more varied community going forward where not everyone is the same!2.2 marks a radical shift in the dynamic of the game, it didn't make for simple additions. Mass-grinding, paid services that give market-advantages, further broken servers & lag, an incredibly weak story, severe nerfs plus echo, the list goes on...
I would consider this communication your upmost priority, it's urgent how quickly you're going to lose players in the hundreds, even thousands.
And please take our words in kind, and carefully consider your next move.

You are welcome to leave. But unless you are willing to show a masters degree or above in marketing, I am hesitant to believe you are qualified to make such assessments as far as the subscriber base.
In the end, the ebb and flow of subscriptions is the subject of speculation, and always there will be amateur critics and speculators who will try to make definiative statments as to the course of the game's success.
What can be said with certainty is that a number of 'thousands' lost or gained in this situation is actually a minor concern. It was stated by Yoshida himself that his intended success marker for this game was 400k subscribers. It has been confirmed by Yoshida that we exceed that number in daily unique player log-ins as of shortly before this patch. That said, one can speculate that they could lose 'thousands' of subscriptions and still be well within the safety margin for their marker of success.
One could speculate that they are experimenting with ways of appealing to broad levels of the audience with each differing patch, and this one simply happened to favor one aspect of the audience.
SE has it fan base only ones that are going to leave are the flavor of the week MMO players
