Sorry but no.
Once they get rid of the FATE system and just replace it with a NM system, this game will be sooo much better. Perhaps they are trying to figure out how to get rid of it while keeping the balance of the game.2.2 was an amazing step in the right direction in concept. The issue is their FATE system (let's be real, this is all you people are complaining about) otherwise, there's absolutely nothing else wrong with what 2.2 did beyond making Myth tomes an absolute chore to get.
Oh, also learn this concept:
"We have to keep our players busy until 2.3."
2.0: Coil had a 1 week lockout.
2.1: Labyrinth of Ancients had a 1 week lockout on gear lots, Coil still a 1 week lockout but 2.1 was a "catch up patch."
2.2: Coil had no lockout, LoTA has no lockout...Coil turn 2 has a lockout, reduced the amount of tomes you can get but no cap on myth.
2.3 = 3+ months away.
Get the idea..?
Also, people magically stopped complaining about the paid retainer services..because they either bought them or just stopped caring.

If you eman Natorious Monsters that won't fix anything. NM was just camping for rare spawns while everyone would be at each others throughts to claim the NM.
Removing FATe entirely will not fix anything. People are just going to complain about that variety in leveling is lacking in the end once they run out of quests and only thing left are Dungeons and Dailies.
lol, another "hundreds to thousands of players are unsubbing in rage because i dont like the changes" thread.
I freaking love 2.2. So much to do, even grinding, finally open world content to see more of the world. More bosses, more dungeons, more equipment, and especially wicked looking ones for paladin<3 I freaking love it. I love the RNG on fates, I would hate to know to do 1000 per area, because sometimes it is one, sometimes it is 100 sometimes it is 1000, I prefer to not know and just gain gil and up my chocobo rank up as he helps me![]()

I would like to just say;
If you are not having fun, then perhaps this is not the game for you. What the developers decide to do with the game effects everyone, not just the "hundreds" of people who don't like it.
I like this game, the only flaw is indeed content, and I don't mean hard core end game must be the best content. I mean things that were in 1.0 and that was taken out.
The NM guild leves, the NMs in general. Fates are quaint but server no purpose. No special drops (except for the occasional minion)
DF is a nightmare sometimes and yes, once I am capped on soldiery, I rarely do them.
Just complete my Animus, I am very proud of myself. But I don't see myself doing it for every weapon. Not because it's hard, but because it is too tedious. Beating turn 7 will get be a better weapon, than spending months on Animus.
TL;DR, more content to fill out Level 1-49 gameplay, not endgame stuff.
Thought this was an English Forum? ガンブレード!吉田も欲しいです!
うん、銃は夢があるし、ガンブレードもFFらしいですよね WTH? does this mean?

Your screen name is Chickenbacca... I'm assuming that's a silly misspelling of Chicken Baka. Is that correct? If so, you might want to reconsider calling people out for foreign language.
Or, more likely, its a rendition of CHEWbacca to CHICKENbacca. Are you simply looking for people to troll?
LOL So their grand plan to get rid of the FATE system is to add more content to the FATEs? You are quite confused.

So, replace live dynamic events with just roaming NM's? Okay. You do know it isn't the FATE system itself that is the issue, right? It is how the developers are using it in quests.
