The wind up sun minion come from the Isle of Umbra, there is a Magic Pot at the back where the bird mobs are, if you talk to it, it demands an elixir, trade it one for the sun minion.
The sun will change how high it floats when you /poke it .

Whoop! Good job. I got mine, but is seems to be a little bugged.
