THIEF AND/OR NINJA hinted at in 2.2 story for 2.3? (very minor spoilers)

Scout and Thief related classes add nothing to the game balance. They are DPS classes. That's still +1 DPS. Though its +1 Melee DPS further unbalancing the Ranged DPS to Melee DPS ratio.

Neither have any guarantee to be before the first expansion and they've been hinting Musketeer for 4 years. 9 Months is nothing. Its doubtful we'll even get it that far away. We could get the expansion by the end of this year, early next year. They've already started on it, and Yugiri's entire purpose in 2.2 was to highlight what is possibly coming in the Expansion itself.

In the truth its a lot of clouds and we see what our mind want we to.

I see, Puppetmaster and Dark Knight because of the Ascians.

I dont think all the new emote quests was a hint for a Dancer quest, but this quest "Help Me, Lord of the Dance" really did me think it.

Well Musketeer is the only Class that has a high probability to appear before 1st expansion because everything is mostly ready for Musketeer class except for Musketeer's skills. Having their Guild even setup in the game and the crafter for the class is confirmed to be Blacksmith because of Blacksmith lore telling how Musketeer weapons founded by the Lisma Blacksmith crafters.

Scout, however, has a bit lower chance to appear before 1st expansion because it is only recently that Scout has finally obtained their lore and combat style in FF14. Their Guild has yet to be set in FF14 so first the guild needs to be set before Scout class has closer chances of appearing before 1st expansion.
