you might want to contact support and see what they say about it. At least it's another avenue for making SE aware of the problem.

I did put in a ticket, and there's ...admittedly kind of a post already made by me in the Website Feedback.

The problem with paying for the Retainer Fees separately is that it will also change my billing setup for my main subscription too. In essence, it becomes a hassle that reminds me all too well of PlayOnline.
