Bard ring from T5 is trash. Allagan weapons from T5 were not.Gez people get really bored when they can't play. Let's all get fired up over assumptions instead of waiting a day to see what happens.
Weapons aren't the only thing that dropped from T5. "OMG SE it took me forever to farm my Bard ring from T5, now you can get better stuff from grinding dungeons. Wahhh."
So much "My assumptions and better then your assumptions, dumbass."

I'm with Schala here. Since it's been stated that Leviathan HM will be around Garuda HM's difficulty, I find it hard to believe that it will drop ilvl items the same level as Twintania, even if those weapons are not BiS anymore, it's a huge gap in difficulty. I'm leaning more toward the above approach. Or something along the lines of both weapons dropping from the EX, just that the ilvl95 has a much higher percentage of appearing than the ilvl100.

Wave Bow Archer's Arm Item Level: 95 / Equipment Level: 50
Tidal Wave Bow Archer's Arm Item Level: 100 / Equipment Level: 50
just saying i can see where the assumptions are coming from ..

You can discard them and re-"purchase" them from the calamity salvager if you need to make use of them againCan be discarded does not mean you SHOULD discard them.
As for the original post, i95 is 20 levels under the new best weapons. Get over it. It's for people to play catch up to those who will probably have beaten Turn 9 by the time they are able to beat Turn 5 for the first time. Welcome to the new Vertical Progression MMO style games where each patch obsoletes the last one. (And by new I mean WoW has been doing it for years).

Actually, in terms of secondary stats, most of the Allagan weapons were trash to me, and if not for the Determination, I'd never have been tempted by them. The only one that actually completely tempted me as a "MUST GET!" is the SCH one, but that's because the Crit Rate, which helps increase the odds of Galvanize being more powerful and of Eos/Selene getting a crit and giving us a spell speed increase. But for the rest, the secondary other than the Determination were rather...useless things.

Yet the Physical/Magic damage stats on them typically trumped any subpar secondary stats.Actually, in terms of secondary stats, most of the Allagan weapons were trash to me, and if not for the Determination, I'd never have been tempted by them. You can't really judge right now.
For all you know Leviathan HM could be be just as hard, if not harder, than T5. So it might be fair to drop ilvl 95 gear.
Only the BRD T5 bow is for debate since it's basically a relic +2 and we all know many bards were unwilling to upgrade to Zenith...
