As for the original post, i95 is 20 levels under the new best weapons. Get over it. It's for people to play catch up to those who will probably have beaten Turn 9 by the time they are able to beat Turn 5 for the first time. Welcome to the new Vertical Progression MMO style games where each patch obsoletes the last one. (And by new I mean WoW has been doing it for years).

You can discard them and re-"purchase" them from the calamity salvager if you need to make use of them again
