    That's not correct.
    They even updated the tooltip from:

    "Reduces all enemy elemental resistance by 10%. ..."
    To:
    "Reduces all enemy magic resistance by 10%. ..."

    Even if it were only elemental resistance, the garuda and ifrit SMN pets deal wind and fire damage, respectively.
