The FATE itself calls Odin an Elder Primal. Steel Reign: Atop his mighty steed, clad in armor darker than the void, the elder primal Odin has returned to Eorzea to exact his brutal judgment upon the realmAs far as I know, the only spoken elder primal mentioned by any npc in the game is Bahamut, who is the father of all primals.
While I do agree that Odin should be a primal, I think it's just pure fandom that tricks us into thinking he is, when the game doesn't consider him to be one.
But like many have said, Odin is a special case and his lore hasn't fully been released, so it's all only speculations. He could be a Primal, or he couldn't be, we may never know.

Read the FATE description for Steel Reign....

Noloe and I are very chill, we just posted at the same time. Many players like us are into the Lore of the game and follow it.

In the FATE Steel Rei...oh cough...lol sorry I didn't mean my posts to come off negative, just early morning and was answering whatever I could. Funny thing about the little FATE descriptions, many of them have lore tied into then. I think Anonymoose's thread actually uses a lot of the FATE descriptions for classifications and such.
