They said that they wanted to hear our feedback, and they've already changed quite some things after the community voiced their opinions. This is feedback, so no one has to shut up or quit "crying". When you don't like something and you have reasonable arguments against it, you must make them clear so that things can change. Sitting there silently is bad, both for you and for the company.

Also, voicing our opinions doesn't mean that we're going to buy anything if things doesn't change, but the other way around. So, if SE doesn't listen, not only they aren't going to get some people to buy the extra retainers, but they'll have some unhappy customers that will be more likely to leave the game after that, or after anything else happens (bad things add up).

Very much this. These are the FFXIV general forums. If there's a place to give opinions on the game, this would be it. If there's people who don't like the idea of cash shop style incentives in a pay to play game, they're going to make that opinion heard. I see no reason to post things like "Stop posting and just don't pay!" Negative feedback is still quite valid. Disagree that cash shop incentives in a pay to play game is a bad value? Cool, post about it. But don't try to silence critics because you're of an opposite opinion.

It doesn't prove anything because 01. wouldn't be considered a cash shop. People are against the idea of cash shops/Pay for advantage in a p2p game.

Since you have diffficulty with the use of simple logic, let me assist you with an easy to understand analogy:

What you are basically saying is that when you order food in a restaurant you should be charged money for the salt because it's a "separate product". You start there and then end up with restaurants charging you more if you want the soup served in a bowl instead of your naked hands. Because, hey: the bowl is separate from the soup!

An MMO doesn't innately come with microtransactions. There is zero wrong with expecting and asking for things to be included in the subscription, rather than as an additional fee.

pretty sure the subscription terms have no mention of anything to do with micro transactions or vanity gear or anything else you are purely paying to play the game some items you can only ever get 2-3 times per character if SE decides to open a cash shop for certain items that are optional like a fantasia(you dont have to swap race....) it hardly goes against players because its optional meaning you dont have to pay a dime for anything apart from your sub fee. if they decide to bring out costumes for vanity let them i mean cmon they brought out a couple of vanity costumes but they arent exactly.... great costumes
i personally would like a more detailed badass type of costume added similar to odins gear but more spiky again this is optional you wouldnt have to have it only if you want it then buy it (this was an example fyi)
p.s this is still optional you choose to buy stuff like fantasia thats on you, you choose not too? then your sub fee hasnt exactly changed

however there are vanity stuff like the snowman suits wich are kinda lame i would like to have nicer vanity stuff free in game but if its micro transaction im not gonna complain i have no quarrels about it im all for cash shop aslong as it doesnt effect the actual running of the game like pay 20$ you get coil pld i90 body etc costumes with no stats fantasia name change card all these things people shouldnt be dissagreeing with purely because they are optional theres no way you can get a fantasia in game unless u have the vet reward so you are limited to how many you have if they made it available in game they would have to change the vet reward and reward ppl with a different item that isnt available
