Would you pay a higher sub for a cash shop free MMO?

Way to twist things LOL. Even SE admitted they went a weird direction with Abyssea.

Anyway, Gamers proven they'd rather pay for items than a sub, even Yoshi admitted this in a recent interview. Look at "Early Access" games and how they're popular - I wouldn't pay a higher sub for something that will inevitably happen because people spoke with their wallets - The answer the companies got is: "Yes you people want a cash shop in all forms of MMO."

Twist what exactly? People who have an unhealthy habit of rehashing the FFXI glory days and comparing it to this game, which is not the same game (if you weren't aware - shocking, I know!) in every topic are just silly.

It's time to put down the nostalgia goggles.

No nostalgia just an overall better game. No lockouts, open world, more content, more fun battles, etc. Just look at FFXIV currently 3 boss fights (primals) 5 boss fights (coil) = 8 FFXI BCNMS) and content that becomes obsolete in a matter of a week or two. Maybe later FFXIV will be worthy of a higher sub fee but currently there's not enough to justify it.

The post you quoted didn't even go into detail about anything, just pre-abyssea which includes the heavily neutered version of XI that came with Treasures of Aht Urghan and Wings of the Goddess, remember Campaign and E Ronfaure parties? Yeah, those were long past the 'glory days' and still before Abyssea.

Nah I would need an update in graphics and have it brought up to date. Faster pace combat, more skills, abilities, mechanics, new world, etc. I could use another mmo to say the quality has to be higher to be worth the sub increase if it bothers you that much.

Simply to say the quality needs to be higher to justify an increase in subs and since I'm familiar with FFXI I simply mentioned it. I know how this forum hates FFXI I should of used another example, I apologized.

I honestly do not care if this game has a cash shop or not, I would just ignore it and continue playing the game as I always have.

I would pay a higher SUB because apparently $15 now days isn't enough to cover for something basic like more inventory/bank space.

Paying more money per month to keep all features in the game or paying money for features.....

Higher sub with everything (fantasia, extra retainers, etc.) attainable in-game.
