Speed runs aren't actually that speedy

Are you splitting up packs in haukke? 22m doesn't sound right to me for a speed run.

Yeah, Ive done 18 mins before and this was with randoms in duty roulette. With a premade I could get this lower but haven't really tried.

I've personally done just over 11 minutes, it's hands down the best 4 man to SR and WP shouldn't be touched anymore. It goes back to the OP where of course speed runs aren't speedy when people don't know how to SR.

I'd want to know how you could get it that low, I've got with my (pretty "static") 4man SR group 15min, and that's the fastest we have gotten. So is there some neat trick we haven't figured out?

I got 11m on the dot last night.

Your pulls are to the door every time as far as you can go, composition we had was WAR/WHM/BLM/BRD. For anything in detail I can share my BLM play but I don't know the other jobs in detail. For LB usage it's caster LB on the final pack of mobs just after tank has rounded them up, I swiftcast a freeze before it to make kite tanking easier since it's a very hard pull especially for WAR tank, and another caster LB on the boss.

If you want I can also share what I know about CD usage, especially for DPS but the general thing is that all mobs I do a single AoE rotation on with foes, I use my convert on last pack before first boss and second boss and all damage buffs are used on bosses. It's a full i90 group with allagan weapons.

We're using PLD/WHM/SMN(I'm thinking of trying on bard, but smn is more geared)/BLM.

Tank and WHM is full ilvl90, me and BLM are bit lower, and none of us have allagan weapons, so by the looks of what you said there, it's DPS's gear/dmg that's making that 4min difference(and possibly that we've used SMN instead of BRD, gotta try that.)
