I don't thank SE for creating the game because they did it solely to make money. They didn't get up one morning and say let's do this so that we can make gamers happy. They looked at how the industry was making huge dollars for minimal input and decided to run with it. Have they done a good job? that depends on who you speak to.

I personally think the graphics are just ok.
Characters are so-so *very limited customisation*.
Can't *mail* communicate unless someone is on your friendlist.
Can't transfer or mail items to other characters on your account.
Can't use the *whisper* function in a dungeon *played a multitude of games where I could and FF is lacking*.
I can play for 10 hours and not speak to another soul, there is nothing social to do.
Fates - a thing of the past because of the lack of new people playing.

Currently I am swapping between a few games while I wait for a new *sandboxie* type of game that is on the horizon. I like playing FFXIV and I will keep coming back to it but it isnt worth getting *gravel rash* or a *brown nose* for.

Sorry to all who think the thread should just be positive but look at it this way now you all have something to scream about and tell me I'm wrong.
