It's always amazing to me how you guys can be so shortsighted sometimes when it comes to game development. Just because he's not answering questions, doesn't mean he does not care about the job or your concerns on the addition of new jobs. It may very well mean he simply can't talk about certain things until the timing is right. Even he as the producer has to answer to someone else and can't be 100% transparent on development.

Yoshi-P is't at any liberty to tell us about any potential new jobs, whatever they might be. Learn to have some patience.

I will say though, it was most certainly something that Yoshi P. said himself in a live letter I believe.

Granted it was quite a while ago, like before launch, so It may not still be valid in all honesty.

Anyway, on topic, while we might see some class before expansion, i think we'll hear it being mentioned in the patch before it's released , ie: i don't think it'll be announced 2 weeks or 1 month before they release one class/job.

No. The only thing Yoshida said is that when new classes are added they'll likely raise the level cap as well. Now that the level cap raise is set for the expansion some people are saying that classes have been delayed but we really don't know for sure.

I think it's just the fact that Yoshi P (and the rest of the devs) have 99 problems, and a gunslinger aint a one, currently.

I wish that they would finally bring out this class, we were told it was going to be a playable race years ago. It's the reason I wanted to play this game. As long as I know it's coming out soon, or coming out AT ALL would be nice, I don't mind waiting. But just a 'yes we have plans to bring it out by X' would be nice.

With 2.1 being a catch-up patch it's possible that any plans they may have had to release Musketeer (or some new class) were pushed back to 2.3 or the expansion. Also, if it is in their game plan to do so I can't think of a better way to surprise the masses and create a bit of hype by keeping it a secret. It's actually a smart way to do it, granted they do it at all anytime soon.

I'm assuming Musketeer (Class) ==> Corsair (Job). Makes the most sense.
