The new Allagan set of items needs to have a small customization option.

How does 8 det beat 6 mnd? To put you in your place, the Allagan gloves are miles better than DL. Also, I was a bit over the top but I still think an MMORPG should have multiple end game routes

Not sure how but I see more White Mages wearing them with their Allagan head and body and Myth legs and feet than not. Guess they did the math like I did to stack specific stats. But that's the name of the game, stacking stats, not iLevel. Yes, I know I'm not wearing Allagan on my White Mage, haven't run Coil yet.

Math? What math?

At minimum 1 Mind=5 DET, So 6 Mind=30 DET. I don't know what math you did but it is for sure not the standard universally accepted math.

Check loot tables of Coil. Then you know the reason. Healer glovers drop in turn 1. Body in turn 4. Legs in turn 5. Thery are buying stuff that is harder to get because it drops very late in coil.
