The Problem is not the money or the lack of high crafters, the problem is having to costantly worry about all the gears, if you level up 3-4 jobs (as 99% of the players) you will have incredible difficulties in keeping all your gears at a decent durability, this because you just can't go to a camp and do 3-4 levels without worrying about repairs. and this sucks.

    Fine let's say you're a rank 50 thaumaturge for example, you'd need a :

Lvl 50 goldsmith : rings,earrings,necklace,scpters... = Time to get item repaired + money to get it repaired...
    Lvl 50 Weaver/Leatherworker : armor pieces = Time + Money as above...

That's 3 craft at 50, and i've put it in the easiest way i can think about ( every other job needs another different craft for its weapon )

This thing itself isnt scary, the fact that this process is ENDLESS scares me the most.

valid concern, but its not a big a problem as you think

doing leves(5-7 a day) and behests, i have to repair maybe once every other week....thats my weapons
maybe once a week if that on my armor

thats not alot of repairing, and its not cutting into your time, once a week is easy enough to send a shout in town for 5 minutes to get repairs(unless you refuse to pay for them, which is another issue, and your own fault)

This has been my experience as well. It used to be that every time you did your leves, you'd return with most of your gear at or near 0%, it's not even close to that now.

I'm not saying that the money is a problem for most players... I'm just saying that the idea i gave would help out the ppl that don't want to lvl a craft for repairs or can't be bothered hunting down someone that can... while giving the ppl that put the extra effort into repairing their gear a reward.... By having the NPC repair to 100% I'm sure a lot of players will be happier... and making Players that repair gear give it a durability bonus would be a good reward to encourage repairing the gear yourself... I believe this is a way to keep the repairs in the game with out as much complaints... As much as i hate repairing my gear i like the idea of having to repair it..
