Thanks for putting words into my mouth but no. He says the same thing in every thread with the word musketeer. He clearly does not care for the class. But yet he post in all the threads some negative remark about the thread itself. So yeah maybe if he came up with something new I wouldnt have posted that but he hasnt so it stands.

Now just so you know this is my secondary account my main got banned for life from the forums for unknown reasons. I have all classes to 50. I bought the original game for musketeer. I played a gun ranger way back in the day in XI then went on the corsair. I like gun classes and the FF lore. So yeah I am playing JUST waiting on musketeer. Well I wouldnt call it playing since i only log on mondays.

I don't doubt you, but it still blows me away. If playing a gun class was the only thing I was interested in, I would just stop playing (and paying) until it came out. Obviously you can spend your money and time however you like, but that's wild.

No i get what you are saying and in a way i kinda agree that I should take a long break. But how does taking a break show the developers that we want a class that should be in the game period? That at least to me feels like the main reason these types of thread pop up daily.

If not posting on a forum for the game that we are playing about a job thats "coming..?" then where else should we go? This is their main forum and we have seen that they read some of the threads. They apparently listen although selective hearing.

I don't think he was implying that only people in absolute agreement should post. I think he was implying that one specific poster should grow up if he wants to participate in legitimate discussion and find other places to flex his e-cred. Most of his post history is sarcastic one-liners blatantly insulting OPs, used for like-baiting or with .gifs from reddit/4chan. Although to give them the benefit of the doubt, I imagine after 400+ posts on this forum anyone would become bitter/jaded as all hell.

On topic though I think it would be cool if they threw Musketeer fans a bone but I'm not expecting much anytime soon. It will likely be the first new class/job but who knows when that will actually get implemented (I understand a lot of the resources for the class are already in-game). If I had to wager a guess I would say within the next two major patches or at the longest, the first expansion.

You saying this may me think about story&logic of progression.(still my opinion for theory)after this maelstrom story arc we will be slowly moving to Ishgard (which will have I believe red mage, drk knight maybe for classes/jobs) Truth be told maelstrom arc is the perfect time to get Musketeer out of the closet and into this game. Because after this story wise, it just wouldn't make sense, lore/story progression wise.
