2.2 Retainers via Microtransactions

Selling retainers was a relic from 1.0 at launch. It was SEs plan to sell them at the start of the game and I didn't see anyone complaing about it back then. But when the game didn't do so well they took out the idea and just gave everyone 2 because very few people would buy them.

But they never given up the plan to sell extra retainers.
Or they wouldn't have written this as they announced the coming fee in december 2011 before they activated p2p service:

It was only not buyable during 1.0 because the payment service was deactivated until january 2012 (couldn't buy anything except crystas) and after the payment service was activated they delayed it until 2.0 because 1.0 ended soon anyway.

Yes, because this is also outdated and not on the stand of 2.2
It is not even complete, because the legacy fee are missing

the reason it is not mentioned could be because it is not ingame yet or because it is an extra and not part of the monthly fee. It also don't list server transfer cost.

Subscription fees for legacy appear under your account options and are applied automatically if you did attain legacy status, so no need to post them on a FAQ that will most likely be used by new or potentially new players that could be confused by it.

And no, it's not outdated. It might become outdated (and then edited on the FAQ) after the 27th, though, if they definitely change the billing options to include the retainer fee (if it's even a monthly fee).
