Question about potions in Turn 4:

Should a strength potion be used in conjunction with Blood for Blood or should it be used after B4B? I'm specifically talking about for first dread. Should you stack all buffs at once or spread them out a bit? Or is it a wash either way?

Personally, I wouldn't use a potion on the P3 Dread. I would, however, using it when killing the P5 Dread (regardless of single or double tanking the P5/6 Dreads). That is my preference, just because the tanks are under a lot more stress in Phase 5 and 6 than in Phase 3...and if you need a pot in P3 you're in a bit of trouble...

In T4 I use B4B on the first knight of phase 2. Then B4B is up again on the P3 dreadnaught and when it is, I use a STR potion. Yes there is more stress on the tanks/healers during the P5/P6 transition, but there is no particular time constraint there like in P3 where you want to kill the dread before the spiders/rooks drop. If you are having any issues with P3, better to use a potion there and see the rest of the fight.

The First Law of Roegadynics: "A Roegadyn may not injure a Lalafell or, through inaction, allow a Lalafell to come to harm."

Yea that was kinda my thought.. The tank can drag dread SW which buys a couple extra seconds. But it is important to get the p5 dread down quick too. I was more or less just curious on the timing, should the potion try to be stacked with B4B, or should it be used after to extend the duration of "buffed" attacks.

I didn't think B4B would be back for p3 if used in p2. I advised our DRG to use it on the first phase so it would be back by the third, HT/B4B/IR and throw down 3 or 4 doom spikes on the bugs.
