I'm sad of the lack of female Roegadyn in all of these previews, when they were showing off all the hairstyles it was a bit depressing
that female reogadyn was not there.

Don't worry. I think the new hairstyles are what we once saw awhile back in a liveletter; the elezen and lalafell hairstyles. We got the roe hairstyles last patch, and the screens you posted show other races in the roe hairstyles as well as lala+elezen.

I can't comment on the dance as I haven't seen actual dancing, just still-shots that to me don't exactly look like the female roe dance.

I'm sure we can doll ourselves up with the new dresses and hairstyles!

Do you mean the dress set? For me it is 2 pieces. A hat for the headgear slot and the dress for the body slot. The pants is of course under the dress like it is with robes.


They are only examples. Other examples you can see in the 2.2 trailer.
They show maybe a trailer with all the new gears during the next live letter on friday.

Vespar, NO thank you. The first one looks almost as bad as the crotch rose dress you posted. Seriously lightning looks like a rejected member of a can-can dancer troupe and is now selling cigarettes and candy in a movie theater.

Btw the upcoming sailor shirt looks great! They both have that XIV touch in the designs which I love.

You think you have it bad? Have you seen a fem roe dance? It's awful.

It is.

But honestly, my favorite one is from the female highlander. Always puts a smile on my face to see them dance so enthusiastically.

Mine too. Giving up the female highlander dance for the female roegadyn dance was one of the few things that made me not want to fantasia that change. Actually, I liked pretty much all of the emotes better as a female highlander, but /dance is the one I miss the most, because the female roegadyn one is so bad.

It would be nice if all dances could be used by all races. Just add a number to the emote (/dance1, /dance2, etc.) to differentiate them.

I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the new dances was for the Summer Bombard Faire event. For those unfamiliar with the old ones, you would /firedance at the bombs to lure them to their deaths. Down here in Aussieland it's nowhere near Summer yet but surely you Northerners are approaching it some time soon.

Now i'm a bit worried we wont even get any of the new hairstyles.



I'm also sad that they didn't show female roe in the new dresses and outfits, (and that the new dance seems to be a mimic of female roegadyn dance).

...maybe i'm worried over nothing though, i'm sure SE didn't forget female roe..

They just don't understand the beauty that is the female Roe.

On a more serious note I picked up on that as well and my shafted senses are tingling lets hope it's wrong.
