New dance emotes and vanity gear.

Dances are cute.

Vanity gear is also very pretty but I just wonder how they will work with the restrictions in place.. it looks like some of those dresses might use 2 equipment slots so then you could never add it as vanity on gear that use only one slot. :/

Time to go sacrifice body stats for some sweet new get up.
Everything's all good when u over gear urself and pop a badass vanity piece ontop to conceal ur awesome gear stats.
Hopefully they are dyeable like the glacial and highland set.
C'mon SE don't let me down! i need a new dress to be tailored to my preferences so that when i run coil in 2.2 i'll make myself look good dying.

Some items may be completley locked off it seems. However anything that is under your banner (Magic/War/All Classes) that is of a lower ilevel value can be used.
There was a mention a long time ago that event gear wouldn't be allowed, this doesn't seem to be event gear, so there's a possibility.

So for [Darklight Kecks] for Bard, could be replaced with [Linen Trousers] because they can be worn whilst you're a bard and have a lower ilevel. (Also stops you applying the look of an Allagan piece on top something that's actually an ilevel25 piece.



Personally I hope I don't see anyone wearing a dress when I'm finding the next stage of The Binding Coil.

i hope those arent the only 2 new outfits they are adding into the game. i like them, but, i hope theres more, otherwise everybody and their brother is going to be in a dress.

I'm thinking of a word, it begins with "W" and ends in "Oosh".
This thread gave us a one handed dagger wielder in light armor, similar to XIs Dancer. Now we get this;

By completing the new [redacted] quest(s), players will earn some fancy new dance emotes.

Which reads as;

By completing the new Dancer Job quest(s), players will earn some fancy new dance emotes.

Why else would they put [redacted] for what would otherwise just be side quests? Obviously they didn't want to give away the new Job!
Seriously though, what could [redacted] be? Maybe they're just trying to get people speculating again lol. Also I'm really amazed I'm the first person to jokingly mention the Dancer Job for this blog post...

My guess is it's the name of the person giving the quest, or could be tied into the storyline somehow so they just didn't wana give out any extra info.
