Minfillia can't fight, I guess? so it's Y'shtola and Gaius.

Y'shtola would be my bet

Gilgamesh in Dissidia Duodecium is actually classed as a Warrior of Chaos for gameplay reasons - the 'Chaos' version of the Victory Fanfare plays if he wins a battle, he's featured on the Warriors of Chaos side of the character selection screen, and the FFV logo for him on the character selection screen has a black background like the rest of the Warriors of Chaos. So even though story wise he's neutral (as he wasn't part of the 'cycle of war' in Dissidia's storyline, he's definetely classed as an antagonist gameplay wise.
As for a FFXIV character in a new Dissidia, as the characters for FFXI in the earlier titles only had 'good' npcs to represent the game, I think to represent FFXIV would therefore have to be a villain. And therefore it would have to either be Nael van Darnus with the Rivenroad as the 'FFXIV stage', or else Gaius van Baelsar at the bottom of the Praetorium for the 'ARR' stage. But I'm more inclined to say Nael (maybe have Rise of the White Raven, Nemesis and Steel Reason as default FFXIV battle themes, and have Primal Judgement, The Seventh Gate and Tempest as DLC battle themes.![]()

I'm more inclined to Gaius myself, he even has an ex-mode already set out with his golden armour transformation in the missions.
Though I guess van darnus has those wing things he got in the final fight.
Gaius could use ultima as his final attack and van darnus could hit someone with dalamud, though that's been done with sephiroth and onion knight having similar moves.

The clear answer is The Wandering Minstrel. His Burst move would be Miracle, in which he salvages a terrible game and makes a good one (Because he's a representation of Yoshi-P).
Aside from him, I cast my votes for either Merylwyb or Y'shtola for light, and Gaius for dark. I would vote for Yda for light, but she has to have Papalymo with her, and Prishe already represents a good MNK character. Plus we need more of the alternate non-human races.
Most likely this guy who is the warrior since he is a Warrior of Light
With either Gaius or Nael being the Warrior of Darkness
COSMOS SIDE
CG derplander in warrior garb is a possibility but it's probably Y'shtola as she's already our rep now in Theatrythym. They'll probably want to use a Miqo'te since Shantotto and Prishe already use Lalafell (Tarutaru) and Elezen (Elvaan) races. Plus she has the flashiest, visually cool looking moves out of the scions.
Felis already posted the two pics I was going to use from my site haha:
Besides the multiplication and barrier, she can absorb/deflect bullets and weapons.
The other scions, particularly Thancred and Yda, have really stepped up their game in ARR with their own awesome fight scenes. It would be cool if they came out for special moves, like how the summons come out for Yuna's attacks in Dissidia. Maybe all of them came out to pray and the twelve does some massive aoe move for her EX Burst?
CHAOS SIDE
It purely depends on when the next Dissidia comes out. If it was during 1.0, it would've been Nael van Darnus. If it comes out relatively soon, it'll definitely be Gaius van Baelsar. Depending on how much time passes though, it may be Lahabrea as he slowly takes over the public face of "main" villain now that Gaius is gone.
---------------------
Hildibrand would make an excellent comedic npc that pops in and out of the story, maybe as a secret scene. To be honest, he'd make a horrible main character though.
For the good guy I would say Cid. as for a bad guy I choose RMT gil seller because I would really like to beat the crap out of them sometimes.
