i think your forgetting the fight will go down a lot faster, that also means more mana saved. Lets say you you skip an extra fireball conflag, well that is a lot of mana saved just there. After 2h unlike titan ae heals aernt needed, just topping tank up mainly. Also during first divebomb set, and when you kill the big snake before 2h thats a lot of freeby mana regen just by doing nothing.

Wow tons of good advices going on here XD.
Unfortunately more people from my static will be MIAing for the remainder of the week, so we'll be skipping out Twintania this week =\

Here's some of my own input:
    1) Lustrate on infirmity debuff is good, but a well timed Cure 2 can do the trick as well!! (of course a well timed Physick + immediate Lustrate after that wins even more ><)
    2) Stoneskin for DS during twister phase can be done, as for my team, all alternate DS will occur immediately after twisters, so for each alternate DS I can swift cast SS while avoiding twister.
    3) Conflag phase can be trivialized by proper phase push timing so that each DS will occur during conflag (MT can just go in).

Well guess this thread can still serve as a guide to any future aspiring/crazy/masochistic healer who wanna attempt solo heal Twintania.

    Thanks everybody for their feedback!!

    a really good topic.

i as a healer want to attempt this, (at least before 2.2) but the hard part is having the other 7 non-healers to agree to this craziness.

i hope the other hardcore endgamers (blue garter/shinra) attempt this and let us know how their experience goes.

    good read

There would be absolutely no room for mistakes. One person gets twistered or during snakes the tanks or a melee DPS gets too many stacks, don't spread out enough and the dread kicks someone. If I could get a perfect team and had my SCH book from T5 I would totally try this.

Depends on the DKs and the RNG that comes with that as well. If you had vigilant off-healing casters there who would still pump out enough DPS for the DKs themselves, sure - also assuming the fact tanking cooldowns and everything would be fully optimized, too. Never mind the wonky timings for stuff at times. Would also need to be completely optimized throughout the run.

As far as comps go, would probably want to run: SCH+PLD+WAR+BRD+BRD+SMN+SMN+DRG. This would allow for extremely easy fireballs with 3 pets and the person getting fireballed stepping next to the pets, with the SCH-fairy snipe-healing the person up with Embraces without any MP-strain on the scholar. Warrior for main-tanking, having more on-demand mitigation for each DS (Inner Beast for every single DS), also bringing in Storm's path.

In addition to the pets, you would have 3 ACNs there, maximizing the Eye for an Eye uptimes. (90 seconds out of 120 seconds of activity, disregarding any potential procs late on into the last E4E, meaning it would be up 110/120 seconds with optimal luck). 2 Bards to rotate ballads or foe's, also being buffed by the token-melee, the dragoon, who brings in disembowel and the melee LB. Your OT PLD would be stunning for DKs mainly and eating up hatches, with the potential HG, should they get targeted. SCH for the actual healing due to superior single-target healing and Lustrates for infirmity.

My 2 cents on the matter.

With 2.2 approaching I really wanted to try all BCoB solo heal before any nerf, so yesterday we went there with the following setup :
SCH PLD PLD BRD BRD MNK BLM SMN (twintania setup, on other bosses SMN was on his DRG, 2nd BRD is our WHM so the dps output was pretty low).
Turn 1 to 4 went pretty smoothly: 1st pull everything even if I had to use LB3 on turn 2 cause of tanks/me screwing up ( 1st time Healer LB was even useful to me)

Then Twintania... I've to admit That healing this boss alone was most likely the best healing experience so far. I was not expecting to kill it when we entered, and first pulls made me feel like I was right.
Phase 1 is really annoying even more when the scourges keep shooting at you or your main tank.
Phase 2 went way better than what I expected even conflagration on me + DS could be survived (our tank never enters conflags, just popping sentinel whenever I'm stunned). The most annoying part was when she was spamming on the same person fireballs and conflags.
Phase 3 was the real hell. 2 tanks getting a lot of damage, dodging divebombs in the same time, and trying to save cooldowns from the tank for the next phase. It's clearly the hardest phase IMO, even with only 1 stack on the snake tank it was hurting a lot.
Phase 4 went smoothly as I didn't get stunned, but I'm confident it would have been fine if I would have been stunned since we managed to save HG and sentinel.
Phase 5 is the same as usual with a lot of lustrates to spend when you are being targeted by fireballs (happened twice)

To conclude, after 6 tries (5 wipes 1 kill) she died, we got 3 or 4 times to phase 3, it is the critical point IMO.

PS: I will try to upload a video of turn 1-4 and see what I have on turn 5 (I've cut the recording because fraps takes too much space, I reactivated it for the last 5% sadly, I'll see when I get back home if I have the rest of the fight but it is really unlikely).

    PS2: Lustrates save the day

I'm pretty sure it won't be possible.Healing the bomb damage is ok but healing the tank tanking a huge death sentence?Even if it'sa warrior who used inner beast you'll have a hard time healing him contrary to the Scholar. As a WHM you're suppose to heal the group and HELP a little the Scholar since you can't heal the MT with infirmity on him.Healing the phase during dreadknight would be a nightmare aswell. If you get stunned, the death sentence during this could almost kill your tank and when you get out ,lustrate would totaly outheal cure II on him.
