    Are you kidding? Getting repairs done in 1.x for other people was great, and I never did this. The only people I didn't do repairs for were people who were putting up repairs for 1 gil.

    Standing in Ul'dah with repairs requested for a reasonable amount wouldn't take longer than a minute or two in my experience. As a crafter, I'd run around looking for people to repair the gear of, and it was tricky to find someone who hadn't already been sorted! So, based on that, I'd say that there was no global shunning at all.
