To make this thread somewhat useful:

Which achievement does the chocobo outfit come from?

Having a chocobo companion at rank 10 (only the chocobo, not one of his role)

For the mask, there is still no new achievement for it

The only real exception to this is the Master [Class] rings you get by completing the hunting log for that class; those rings are actually fairly decent to use given the item level.

The GC accessories are also good if you want to spiritbound your gears faster.
