I say you're dismissing because you answered someone's negative experience with an excuse (they didn't join a LS/FC, placing blame on them and not the community, which is a tactic many use to invalidate someone else's experience and try to prove a point).

Hahaha! I only answered THAT person that way because in the two years I played 1.0, that person was one of three people on my blacklist and I am familiar with that person. ;p

Haha, goes to show generalizations are bad :P In my experience, people have been doing that without knowing the person they were saying it at (including them saying it at me). So I just made assumptions based on that. Apologies for giving you such a hard time.

And I don't believe generalizations or judgments are "bad.". People need to make judgments in life every day, usually based on generalizations. Some people's lives depend on it. Obviously it's not that serious in games.
