You'll have it day 1 of 2.2, you can farm BC.That data is not parsed. It is calculated using my calculator based on raw damage/crit data and F3 + F1x5 Rotation (aka using the whole spreadsheet to calculate)
@NeoAmon - I appreciate all your BLM inputs m8. Would have beer with /10
in other news.. my robe finally dropped after 6 months of coil. Gonna probably take another 5 months for the circlet though.
OMG..no more poverty homeless BLM or brown shenanigans, HELLO hot red & black!
Excitement x 10000.
Your reply is riddled with fallacy. Why does any of what you said even matter when what we are talking about are stat scaling. With the exception of spell speed, determination and critical hit chance scales the same way for both classes. That is a very limited view. You have to look at the two jobs fundamentals. SMN is a DOT Job with limited AoE (compared to a BLM) and limited burst, while BLM is heavy AoE and burst damage with limited DOT.
From there you go about the sustainability of the two jobs. SMN is a high sustained DPS while we are slow burst RNG based job.
Numbers wise, they need 450 Acc, we need 435. They don't value SS much, while it can be the best secondary stat for us. They also use/need/want Det or Crit for different reasons than us. You look at the two adds in Titan ex for example, if the BLM is a Crit build (s)he almost needs one of the double flares to crit to keep up in the total damage and DPS department.
I was trying to....nevermind. Since you already made the statement "determination and critical hit chance scales the same way for both classes" you ought to prove it.
In terms of sustained DPS on paper, yes. Same thing with Spell Speed's on paper effect on sustained DPS for BLM compared to DET/CHR for BLM. They're all relatively close to each other on paper, in a training dummy environment.
In real fights CHR is way different on BLM than SMN. A crit from BLM can singlehandedly require less GCDs from everyone on a mechanic or add, something SMN can't hope to do with its slow but steady DoT damage (you could argue Fester can do this, and it can, but even that is less damage than a Fire III, and you only get three a minute). During AoE, using Flare rotations, enemies crit will often die a GCD faster, helping the situation more.
It's a matter of what the class's high potency nature does in combat, where preferring CHR over DET/SS can prove very useful, unlike SMN where they are much more interested in just raising average sustained damage more.
Yes, but in a theorycraft thread, we are precisely discussing about the theoretical and damage done over a ten minute period with flawless RNG. I don't know what NeoAmon is trying to proof here, since it is pretty clear all casters scale the same way with critical hit chance and determination. It is too stubborn to rely on old data and disregard all the hard work people put in to innovate and further the research.
Hello everyone, sorry for my English, I congratulate you for the very comprehensive and complex work that has been done that is egregious, but by BLM 90 I do not agree with the evidence that has been made with the critical equipment as the other items are equip lvl more. The test should be done with the same item of equal lvl trying to use the improved statistics of the top gear. At the moment I can not compare a test because they are not in possession of all the pieces allagan 90, but I'm more than sure, that with ACT parser on a basis of the same evidence I have a higher dps. I have always been convinced since the game's full crit is that the top and continue to think of it, keeping skill and speed 2.35 GCD CRIT 515 with food as I am, for sure full 90 changes everything on this test. I would appreciate an answer to compare the statistics. See you again!
