Is Garuda Ex a good filter for DFing Titan Ex??

not a good filter.. the difficulty jump from garuda ex to titan ex is quite big

The quality of players does get somewhat better in Titan and Ifrit, but the "scrub" rate is still high enough overall that an actual clear is rare in most DF parties.

The only time I use DF for EX primals is to practice my specific role, I never explect a clear in the DF.

I was really wondering if Garuda Ex is some kind of filter for unskilled people in DF to do Titan Ex and Ifrit Ex IN DF.

You can be carried through everything but T5. That includes Garuda and Titan EX. Garuda EX is really pretty easy. The margin for error is a lot larger than you think; it's ignorance and panic that cause most wipes. Every time I see an OT at the bottom of Garuda's enmity list, I flip a table or four. The groups that fail are generally where people just won't listen and rage because zomg you're telling me how to do my job (tragically common to have OT do this when I MT).

I've had a number of good Titan EX parties in the DF, and a number of very bad ones. Apropos,

More like going into DF, giving it your best shot, but having realistic expectations that at least one of the other 7 people you got together with is going to eat every single weight and ruin any chances of completion, so you don't expect a clear.

Lolwut. Right, me practicing titan EX is totally gonna wipe the group with an ilvl70 tank (which happens about 90% of the time.)

You're joining DF to practice and bailing later, so you enforce a DF environment where people cannot win and good experience is hard to come by. Even if you aren't intentionally sabotaging runs (I didn't say you were), you are sabotaging the entire DF system out of abject selfishness.

I still dont understand how me joining a party, giving my all, and not screaming at people when they screw up because a win would be a pleasant suprise is me"ruining" the system.

Hmmmm these days ex Primals ain't difficult even on df. Most are used to the mechanics and geared up.
Titan HM can be carried easily and Garuda ex is possible.
Titan ex will be tough cos we usually goes solo healer where non of the experienced can make any silly mistake or we can't cleared it.

Titan Ex runs are already sold since one month ago at least on Balmung. Pretty expensive (900k) but I know wome people who paid just because they wanted the quest done "in case which" leviathan requires ifrit to be done. I'll personnality pay a run myself if it is proved necessary and my friends give up before we win.
