Is Garuda Ex a good filter for DFing Titan Ex??

Hmmmm these days ex Primals ain't difficult even on df. Most are used to the mechanics and geared up.
Titan HM can be carried easily and Garuda ex is possible.
Titan ex will be tough cos we usually goes solo healer where non of the experienced can make any silly mistake or we can't cleared it.

Titan Ex runs are already sold since one month ago at least on Balmung. Pretty expensive (900k) but I know wome people who paid just because they wanted the quest done "in case which" leviathan requires ifrit to be done. I'll personnality pay a run myself if it is proved necessary and my friends give up before we win.

I have never succeed a single titan EX on pf with descriptions like "Need to see weapons", "Experienced only", "2 strikes rule" and so on.

DF can be better or worst depends on the day, but I haven't succeed with that either.

Your best bet is set up a pre-made team with your FC/LS members for weekly kills.

actually got passed + and X bombs tonight in DF. Every PF party for last 2 weeks wiped there.

Whole game is easy-ish until u shatter titan Exs heart imo xD That combo of + and X bomb, 5 way landslide and egis is just so much more than I was used to handling up to that point.

I've seen players with Allagan weapons join my pf groups, then get launched off the platform by the 2nd landslide. "Lag" is usually the answer, so you know they're BSing you there.

Also, at least on Excalibur, most of the people with EX primal wins bought them from the FC's selling runs, so they haven't ever really won the fight.

Actually Garuda EX, Titan EX and T5 has started to lag like hell for me and few FC members in past few weeks now, usually i dont get any lag but lately certain fights has became nightmare due 5sec screen freezes and invisible targets. This doesn't happen always, but when it happens it makes those encounters unplayable

The only filter really is Titan->Ifrit, there are hundreds of Derps that love to stand in things on Titan, but the vast majority of these either learn to play or stay stuck on the content.

Nope! The reason for this is because Garuda is more of a strategic and "routine" fight. In Garuda, if you are standing in the wrong place, it's gonna hurt, and all you have to dodge are the Chirada/Suparna AoE's as well as the Windburns from Garuda herself. In Titan no matter where you're standing you're going to have to dodge something, and if you don't, it's likely going to kill you. Losing your cool in Titan means losing the fight.

Titan EX is also harder due to player responsibilities. Garuda EX is essentially a tank check and the DPS race portion requires the DPS'ers to be stationary for the most part. In Titan, everyone is important, and one death will be a heavy toll upon the group. I also think that Titan is harder because DPS has to be more aware that fight than any other, and players who pick DPS jobs solely because it's "less work" than tanking and healing and depend on other DPS'ers pick up the ball are in for a very rude awakening.

as for the topic: NO NO NO, garuda is an endurance fight with the exact same pattern, at the 3rd or 4th round of super tornado phase, peeps are goin to get tired, or greedy and thus lose concentration which may wipe ur party, but titan is not on the same exact pattern ( landslide on round the clock bombs and 3 row bombs) and only have 3 rounds hard enrage, the moment round 3 when egis are summoned, u only have 10 seconds before sumo stomp nonstop enrage.

My FC is not large enough to run this, so I'm always at the mercy of the PF and DF, which sadly includes many players who think that gear is the end-all-be-all defining factor and a lot of them rely on it to make up for their lack of knowledge about their DPS rotation and fight mechanics. At this point, doing the fight with 7 other people who know what they're doing would be a dream.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying. No. When the content first released you had better chances in duty finder because only so many people had beaten these fights. people are pugging all of the primals these days, and people can most definitely be carried through garuda. titan can as well, but its a little less likely, so maybe ifrit has a better DF pool of people, but you will find plenty of carried people in titan ex duty finder.
