    Where can you get this cane? http://xivdb.com/?item/2048/Giantsgall-Cane I get the impression that it was available in 1.xx. If so, how can one be available on Moogle MB?

    Yup, 1.0 only for now, but Legacy players can now transfer to Non-Legacy worlds which is how that got on your MB.
