FFXIV is a wonderful game

It's funny. I usually only see a lot of complaints when I come to the forums and not in the game itself. I'm also probably the only one in my FC that actually comes to the forums. The truth is that people that are unhappy with something are always more vocal about it.

Though they should really think about re-instating the policy of only letting people with active accounts post here. It's ridiculous to see people that don't even play the game anymore here complaining all the time.

I get the impression that you're the type of person who likes to "sweep things under the rug". Stop people from criticizing the game and sit back to imagine that everyone loves it.

In any regard, one problem with your proposed "barring" of people posting upon cancelling. Anybody who has bought the game (much less having subscribed any period of time) has invested in the game with their money. I'd think that earns them the right to voice themselves on this forum.

As for myself, I like reading positive things, along with negative. If any group of people out there have criticism for anything, then they should sooner be heard to attempt to improve it, than pretend they don't exist. All in all, these forums really aren't that bad. They aren't nasty or hostile. I don't see many people outright attacking each other for difference of opinions. So really.... if people have good, or bad things to say about this game, let them. If SE pays any attention whatsoever, it should be a better game for everyone. Not just the people who like it the way it is.

I agree to this somewhat, the fact they can still voice things they would like to see or post VALID (not all complaints are valid from either side) complaints may in fact get them to resub should things change in the direction they would like to see based on their feedback.

As for me I enjoyed my time in this game I met some people who I hope I can continue to keep in my life for a long time and I have no regrets playing what I did. Sadly I can no longer justify my time here but thats not what this page is about so I will leave it at that.
