Healing and DPSing is easy as hell. Anyone who can't do it just needs to practice BUT in moderation. Notice how I listed them (healing AND DPSing) DPS should ALWAYS come second to healing; this is a static rule that HAS to be followed. If you are new to healing just ask for advice about how to go about it from your FC mates or friends that know. If not then keep reading. First thing is first defensive boosting your tank. WHM should always cast Stoneskin (SS) before the pull (not while the tank is pulling). If you do this it will buy you a couple of seconds to dps initially but I recomend only applying your aero spells (DoTs) then remove Cleric's Stance (CS). Follow up heal and recast SS + a regen if there are a lot of mobs leftover (AND as long as tank has decent threat built up). After that you will have a couple of moments to re-pop Cleric's Stance and casting some Stone IIs, or use Holy (ONLY if you can spare the mana) then re-apply your aeros again and remove CS. This is called "Stance Dancing" and if you desire so badly to DPS then you MUST do it; otherwise you will end up killing everyone. The equation is simpler for SCHs but basically the same in theory. Your fairy (Eos) acts as a "regen" so you can actually dps more as a SCH imo. Many consider it a waste but I'm pretty sure that Adloqium will still absorb damage even if it doesn't actually heal the target (I could be completely wrong about this, however so don't quote me on it). As SCH you should be able to get away with casting SS + Adlo before pulls. This will give you enough time to dump out all of your DoTs on the target. Then you can either cast Ruin II for the blind or just spam Ruin I (keep in mind that you are going to be pissing mana into the wind with spamming it though). In either case you will just need to remove CS to heal if your fairy begins to struggle. For groups pulls Eye for an Eye is wonderful and for bosses just couple E4E + Virus and your tank will be in "God Mode" for a bit (but just remember that blowing it early may cost you if the boss has a "rage mode"). This is the best advice and how I handle my dungeons as a healer in both jobs. There's many other variations out there that could be better than my own but how I do it works for me and I don't mind telling those who ask. I don't like coming on the forums and seeing tanks upset because people aren't taking the time to learn properly or practice and I'm hoping new healers read this and take it into consideration
