if you don't reward players for level-syncing themselves in the dungeon, other that SP, there will be no point in doing that and people won't waste their time doing that even for a challenge. We want a challenge but what is a challenge if you are not rewarded for it in any form. People like to beat challenging fights but it's null if there is no one knows that, if everyone has the same rewards regardless if they go the easy way or the challenging way, no one will force challenge things since no one will know they went and succeeded.

I might not express it in the most eloquent way, english is not my primary language, but I'm sure you get what I mean.

Yeah I know, which is why I said it would take away 40% of the raging!
At least with a level synch we can both get good sp and design a good team around the designed level if we want.

The alternative would be to try to design that team around inherent job levels of 25-35. If you don't have a healer, or don't have a tank, you're stuck.

Thus, the players who DO choose to actually make the R30 dungeons an appropriate challenge instead of setting the goal at 8 feet just so they can feel what it's like to dunk for once, then those players should be given at least more of a shot than their actual rank in a job.

Because my jobs are only rank 25-45 for about three weeks. But a level synch would last forever.

I just wish the level cap would have been there. Then not only does the dungeon last forever and stay relevant, but the gear has no easystreet means of being earned.

    Oh well.

I know right? I thought the cap stuff what the best features in FFXI, I understand they removed it lately but I assumed it was because the game was on it's last leg anyways. Not only does it make the dungeon last forever and relevant, it still let high level people help lower people while still not robbing them of the challenge. Guess this era of gaming is long gone with the coming of king-kids that feel they are owed everything and that everything should be handed for free.
