Please add level synch option to R30 raids

This feature would give players the option to scale down their job to fit the designed difficulty of the raid and double their maximum challenge raid content for 1.18. Many of us can't bring a class to raids that are of an appropriate level any more, and it would help perfuse those required 4 and 8 man parties with a good balance of jobs instead of a mishmash of what is available.

This would also solve about 40% of the raging upon hearing news that the raids aren't capped.

A level synch for raids would be the new easiest, most efficient solution now that level caps are out, especially if SP gains are significant in raids.

    Yes, this...

I'd say not just for raids, but that's just me. Having it as an option would be a welcome feature.

Level synch is something you add to a general game who is getting on in its age and losing the low and middle level demographic. Putting it in a new game is a warning sign that your new game is aging way too quickly.

Not that we wouldn't use it, but it would just make me sad that the game's already resorting to it.

If we limit it to raids, at least we can still say it's not because low and midlevelling fell out from under the game.

we dont need a level synch

we need the difficulty slider like the leves have right now

giving people options is better then forcing them to do things a certain way

Please. A difficulty slider is a fail generic remnant of a fail game that should never have been. It doesn't work. It only creates superficial difficulty, not thoughtful challenge.

    your point?

again, if people want a challenge, itl give them one, without forcing them to do it

people want options, not to be force fed

Nah, gimp players just want an easier away around difficulty than actually having to face it. They can't win if they can't take R50's to the R30 raids, and they can't win R50 raids without stacking thaumaturges and archers.

They're bad players who like easy outs.

If you don't want a challenge, go back to crafting. get out of our raids. That's YOUR option.

I would love a level sync on the r30 dungeon simply because I remember CoP being so much fun. My LS is small and I'd like to be able to go through it on my favorite classes (which are 50) to have fun and help LS mates.

However, I believe this would take SE a few more months to implement.

    1. Are all of your classes sync'ed so you can't equip r50 abilities from other classes either?

    2. With the removal of physical levels, the stats will be awarded based on class rank and they're still manual allocatable. Now, when your level gets sync'ed, you're going to loose some stat points. Which points are removed? Do you have to re-allocate them all?

Not that these are big issues, just SE is slow at doing anything. Still, I'd like to see the level sync.

Yeah it'd take more time. I really hope Yoshida didn't settle for this result when faced with the potential that making raids RIGHT would take another month.

I'd rather them be right than rushed to release. Rush to release is what we were supposed to be avoiding. Yoshida used to say "it now has to be right the first time when we release it." I hope he hasn't resorted to the old team's choosing of release now rather than quality assurance.
