I'm really ashamed at players these days. I got my first Titan win in Toxotes gear and an Ifrit bow and no, not as a corpse. My first Garuda win was in near all Company gear. In this current environment, though, I'd be kicked out of the party as soon as I spawned in the instance for being 'undergeared'. So the new dungeons are around the same iLevel as the current high level dungeons. I don't see the problem. As long as you know your roles, know how to manage hate (no, using your hate-bleed moves every time their cooldown ends is not managing hate) and can still contribute meaningfully then you've nothing to worry about. ILevel is a crutch if ever I saw one and shouldn't be used for anything. We'd be a better game without it.

Remember that ilvl restrictions was actually something this community asked for...

Yes, the outcry was pretty loud for it to be added, though I think the loudest cries were from the 'elites' not wanting to share their precious content with 'newbies'... even though we were all newbies once.

    the funny thing is:

the higher the ilevel the easier it gets.

these so called "professional gamers" do fear slightly higher difficulty.

you can beat titan very easily by being ilevel 70. but nowdays they search for ilevel 80/85 people who are almost at ilevel cap.
    its quiet ridiculous and embarrassing.

i dont have a problem with that to have a ilevel 65 (or whatever the restriction is) guy in a titan party... if he knows what to do.. and hey.. my blm is at least ilevel 85 to compensate this.

but i slowly get the idea that those players really think that ilevel 70 players hardly can beat titan... which is definatley not the case.

Exactly, these pro snobs who think theyre better than others are constantly afraid of facing anything that might be an actual challenge. The irony is these fools are usually the ones whining about how other players want to be carried, lol.

SE designed and balanced the game, SE made the restrictions according to their design. They know more about what gear requirement should be necessary to pass content than some angry man-child with an virtual god complex.
