Depends on the derp level of your team. The rot isn't an issue in enrage (in fact, it's even easier during enrage as you only have to do one pass and then stack up with no AoE to care about), but again the team has to do one turn of pass in order not to wipe, and some people are really bad at this (my team went for enrage since the lag back then was really bad and people who had to take the rot often died right before. Never tried again after all the fixes on T2 lags)

Before the WAR buff, baddies played PLD. With the buff, I have been seeing alot of people catching concussions jumping off the PLD bandwagon and leveling WAR. In endgame however they are pretty equal.
    Fixed that for ya.

The potion bit was sarcasm XD

As for the LB, somebody was under the impression ADS got another defense buff after enrage but last night I did not see any additional buff. It works out OK for us since the LB is full, then just LB each time 1 fills back up which is usually twice. Also, last night was the first time I got to dragoon ADS, Blood for Blood is very bad during enrage lol (habit from normal drg rotation)..

Huh? The reason we wait til 30 seconds because when we didn't Rot would start to get passed around then we would all explode as soon as enrage hit.

I can't believe so many experienced people here on the forums are still doing easy enrage mode. Normal mode is not even that hard guys.

    Which class is more needed?
Both are needed, most 8-man raids will prefer to use both for the debuffs and to build the limit break break.

    Which class is preferable?
This wont be reliable as I can only say for the server I'm in but it would seem that the paladin is the more popular choice for other people but that really depends on who you run with, how they heal, do you know what you are doing etc.

    Which class is least played?
Warrior is the least played out of the two but when the buffed them more people started to see it as a viable option

    Warrior or Paladin?
I have a bias towards paladin as its my main, I enjoy the security of the paladin with its cooldowns and hallowed ground has to be one of, if not the most useful cooldown in the game. That being said I enjoy warrior because its fun to play and dps can help in some situations.

Any tank worth their salt should have both at 50 to see what they enjoy but also to roll as to benefit the team.

Enrage is easier for generally uncoordinated PUGs. Most of the people I know in-game that have been doing coil a while still use the Rot method. I'd personally like to try the Rot method a few more times, only got to try it twice before we started doing enrage.

Rot is quicker, why people wouldn't do it is beyond me.

It's idiot-proof and unarguably easier for the general player base. You can argue all you want but in the eyes of the unskilled, enrage is the quicker method since they don't risk someone forgetting about rot and have to do it all over again.

If you mess up Rot, you start the Turn over again. With a PUG, you're putting all your faith in those other people not messing up. With the enrage method it is pretty much impossible to mess up - the only thing that CAN be messed up is silencing High Voltage, and that's not necessarily going to wipe you.

True, I just feel people should know how to do the rot method. Every other instance forces you to learn the mechanics but this one lets people weasel their way around it.
