Astounding... And yet we're stuck waiting until "sometime after 2.3" in order to get the stupidity of Ready Check addressed.

Not sure where you got that. From Camate's post here:

I have some additional information about the upcoming adjustments to the Ready Check feature to share.

The development team is currently working on the below:

Changing the feature so it cannot be used while in battle.
Changing the feature so the name of the person who initiated it is displayed.
Addition of a "wait" or "hold" button.
Changing the feature so when you close the Ready Check window it does not automatically pop back up. (The tally results will be displayed in the chat log when doing this.)


The team is currently looking into whether they can implement these prior to patch 2.2."

EDIT: Wow.. You even responded to Camate's post about the Ready Check, but you still somehow got "sometime after 2.3"?
