Which is what? A r50 wants gear on a job that he only plays from time to time? How does that break the game? It's just foolish reasoning.
FURTHERMORE, what about the players that have all their battle classes to r50? What incentive to they have in playing a r30 dungeon at all?
Why is Kokoroon's Darkmail, Conquistador Elmo, Venerer's Bracers, Seer's Cowl, ect ect ect all best in slot even for R50 jobs atm? Why were Lv.22 Strider Boots, Lv.7 Leaping Boots and Lv.1 Cassie Earrings all best in slot for Lv.50-75 for YEARS after they were released? Just because it has the moniker of "Level 30 Dungeon" does not necessarily mean the gear is going to be replaced like in WoW. From XI that is not how SE has rolled the last 10 years.Which is what? Exactly my point and the problem. The 25 dungeon won't be challenging at all. It will be more like an extended leve. You can't balance content around rank 25 and allow rank 50s to go in and have it challenging. People aren't going to enter with their rank 25-30 job, they'll go in with their 50s.
Because the new Dev Team designed better gear than the old team. But to think that this r30 gear is going to be the best for all time, ESPECIALLY with the release of a r50 dungeon is naive at best. Why is Kokoroon's Darkmail, Conquistador Elmo, Venerer's Bracers, Seer's Cowl, ect ect ect all best in slot even for R50 jobs atm? That is not to mention that ALL the gear you listed is dropped off world NMs, INCLUDING THE FFXI ITEMS. R75s were camping Leaping Lizzy just like level 30s. What point are you trying to prove there?
The point was to reiterate the point that just because there is Lv.50 content it doesn't mean that lower content will not be important to capped players. YOU in fact just proved MY point so thank you. It was not about HOW you got the gear but the importance OF the gear itself.Because the new Dev Team designed better gear than the old team. Lol BS. The example you used was poor but don't try to turn it around as me proving your point. Once the r50 dungeon is in place, most r30 gear will be obsolete. The point was to reiterate the point that just because there is Lv.50 content it doesn't mean that lower content will not be important to capped players. Again 10 years of FFXI says otherwise. Especially when the new Dev Team is not going to come out with more content for another 2-3 months.
There is a chance that some of the new gear would be desirable for higher ranks, and that might be OK if it were dropping off open world mobs. But this is supposed to be instanced content designed specifically for a certain rank. While we could have a L75 camp LL and kill it in like 5 seconds, he still had to compete with the L15 too. The point is, because of the lack of challenge, you run through unopposed with little challenge until you get the gear you want. It just like having the new NM's that pop so fast and having high drop rates. People don't want this game stuck on <Easy Mode> forever.Because the new Dev Team designed better gear than the old team. But to think that this r30 gear is going to be the best for all time, ESPECIALLY with the release of a r50 dungeon is naive at best.

if they want the challenge they can run it on their 30
but you cant tell them they arent allowed to make it easier by doing it on their 50
every player has the right to play the dungeon how they want according to the rules of the dungeon, not the "opinions" of what other players are going to want to do
much like leve failing
or grade 10 fishing

It's these rules that we're bitching about. This 25 dungeon will be obsolete as fast as the NMs they added in the last major patch. Game doesn't need content that becomes obsolete within a week because the developers can't create new content fast enough. After a week you're back to leve grinding and boredom. Hopefully they get things right with the 50 dungeon, I don't know how many people will sit around waiting more months with nothing to do for the next content.if they want the challenge they can run it on their 30
