Maybe if they were more active in their official forums and kept us in the loop there would be a lot less negativity.
We get vague hints of whats to come and the only feedback we every get is "we're looking into this"..
What do they expect. Us to all sit around and /praise them after nearly a year of a game that isn't worth the dvd it came on?

be glad you get any info at all, many games don't tell you crap about whats going on, in fact, with the way SE gives out info, I would rather them say nothing then what they tell us already.Maybe if they were more active in their official forums and kept us in the loop there would be a lot less negativity.

i see you guys only see this is a vague hint so let me me tell you what this really means; "we don't have an answer at the moment but where working hard to find one" its sad that this needs to be said but clearly some ppl just see only bad.We get vague hints of whats to come and the only feedback we every get is "we're looking into this"..
Auto-attack functionality will be prioritized in 1.18. => thats just the start. Its not finished.
Attack motion diversification and fine-tuning are planned for 1.19. => fine-tuning should come before dungeons.
Battle classes only will receive auto-attack.
The stamina gauge will be abolished with the introduction of auto-attack.
Recast timers will be adjusted for certain actions obtained via quests and guild marks whose action costs were managed solely through the stamina gauge.
Certain actions dependent on the stamina gauge will have their effects adjusted.
Characters will be made able to switch between passive and active modes while moving.
Multiple attacks during auto-attack is also being planned for the future. => future. So its also not finished!
so how and where do you read that the things i mentioned are finished before the dungeons? i didn't find it tbh.
front page is hardInstanced Raids Unveiled! (06/20/2011)
As has been previously announced, 1.18 will usher in new battle content in the form of instanced raid areas—forsaken domains wherein parties attempt to cut a path through hoards of fell foes.
Read on to learn about the two areas set to host exhilarating battles come 1.18.
lolwhat?
"We don't have an answer" is their answer to absolutely everything, and you're trying to imply that in itself isn't bad?

Interim solutions are for pansies.
Did you not actually read what he said? He said it's too bad we're getting dungeons before the battle system/job system are completed.
Comprehension is hard.
I agree, it's fair enough that they're in the planning stages for a lot of stuff, but a general idea of the direction you're going in would be very reassuring. It doesn't even have to be the most specific details imaginable (although it does leave a lot of room for the community to jump to conclusions and go crazy)

Once 1.18 is released and after trying out the new system, I will decide if I want to thank them for 1.18 or not.
All I can thank SE dev team (new) ATM is thanks for trying to fix what the old team F'ed up, I know it's hard work and hope they keep up with constant changes to make it into a real Final Fantasy title.
