Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but they will very likely not do that for you.

And even if they did, there is a one-time replacement policy. Meaning if you have an item restored, you can never have another item restored again on the same account. I would not use that up on an item that only costs 2000 seals.

As for renaming your Chocobo in the future, this can be done by speaking to the chocobo porter in any of the three main cities.

Well now I feel like a fool for the name thing, as for the one-time replacement policy, personally I'd just like to get this refunded even if it's my one time only thing.
