that rank 30 gear is SO good for my rank 50 character

that arguement doesnt hold guys, good gear only works if you are in that range! (yes i realize we can drag others through to get them that gear, and thats the benefit of having friends)
#1. The gear may or may not be good for your rank 50 class, but it is definitely good for your rank 25 class.

#2. You can see that even with the rank 30 NM gear that was introduced not too long ago, there are still some items that are important in an end-game gear setup: Kokoroon armor, Conquistador Elmo, Seer's Cowl, Bracers, Nighthawk Visor, Eternal Shade, etc

    Huh? You mean this?

This isn't really a complaint. Im just incredulous is all.
There are many other areas of Game Mechanics to be be advanced.
Given SEs current workload it is beyond "Ignorant" to expect a full area design for a dungeon instance. Of course, everyone online is a Multi-Million-Dollar Video Game Developer and knows EVERYTHING about how ANYTHING should be done the RIGHT way. (Spare us all your delusions.)

It is also common that ALOT of people don't know all the unreleased zones and models which have been sitting on their HardDrive the past year yet remain unaccessible.

IF you DO know about these it is because you are one of the few privileged to find the various posts on 3rd party forums showing inaccessible zones.

It is quite simple: Either be patient or leave FFXIV and its forums and go play WoW.

If you linkshell cannot manage 8 people... well you probably need to do 2 things. Recruit more member into your linkshell, or join an event linkshell.
After 6 years of tied into a rigorous 'event' schedule for dynamis, sky, sea, limbus, einherjar, salvage, you name it, it gets very old, very fast. Whether we recruit more to be able to handle these events within our social LS, or whether we join large scale event LS's for this, it would still be better to be able to 'scale' dungeons for the event. That way, you'd be happy, and I'd be happy lol.

It's quite premature to speculate on this. It will be what it will be, at this point, I'm sure. However, one of the things that SE promised this game is that it would not penalize the individual player, rather requiring large commitments to large scale events. Time will tell.

God forbid someone question SE about a product they purchased....yeah that's right. We bought this game. There was a promise of product and services that have yet to be rendered. We are allowed to complain about it as much as we want and if you don't like it go play WoW >.>

    How is that for simple?

I'm pretty sure I've been playing FFXIV off and on since Alpha around may of last year.

Wait, wait, wait... if their workload doesn't include creating new stuff - areas, dungeons, armor, weapons - then why is their workload causing so many delays and taking so long in general? Would you have me believe that it takes 6 months, with several delays, to develop auto-attack and fill some dungeons with mobs that are seen everywhere else in the game, and that will drop gear that the models of which we also already have?
