They already said it wouldn't be changed. Beating a dead horse here everyone.

Considering some of the female models in XI are curvier..it's definitely not limitations. They stated back in beta it's to allow Female Roe and Male Mioqte ontop of makin it easier and faster to create armor - The other reason they got rid of visible Belts. My theory is that their character artists are full of anime fans when they replaced the 1.0 team. Hence no knowledge of anatomy/observational skills.
... or they just needed to lower the tri-count to abysmal LoL(not laugh lol) quality. (Inb4 Ps3 limitations)

I uhh... actually prefer the 2.0 bodies a little bit more, I think. Though, that's just a personal taste thing. Can't say I mind having the polygon count on our characters lowered a bit though; makes it so the game can run on a much wider range of systems. I'm willing to sacrifice the butts so that my friends who play this game on toasters can get their fix.

I can't tell the difference between the two pictures besides 1.0 had a bit more love handles. Both 1.0 and 2.0 butt images still have the cement walls in my opinion. I don't think any changes for the models will be done anytime soon since they said this what they're going with. However who knows maybe in another expansion or future patches they will have *butts poking out for both gender* because the feedback is here, but not important as of the moment.
I don't care either way, but I don't mind *upgrades*
They had to do that to make the transfer from 1.0 to 2.0 easier, IIRC it was something along the lines of using some sort of standardized waist shape for every race (since they also made Female Roe and Male Miqo'te) so they didn't have to make a model of the same gear for every race/sex thus reducing a lot of time/cost transferring the data from 1.0 to 2.0 and making future gear. Maybe that was also the reason why in 1.0 most of the gear was a variation of an already existing piece of gear.

Like I said in the last thread, I don't hold out much hope for this.
As for the other thread's deletion, if it went off topic then they'd just close it and leave it up like the first one, but here they're following their latest trend which is just deleting any thread that criticizes the game in any way shape or form.
Asking for anything anymore (and I do mean anything), unless it's to ask for things we're already getting while also worshiping the ground the developers walk on, is considered taboo. Remember that promise they made to us back when the game was just starting to get the reboot? You know, the one about listening to and taking player feedback into consideration moving forward? Apparently that only matters if the "majority" of the player base cares to post about an issue on the forums or if it gets covered by a news outlet.
Any 1.0 player who started playing the game back in the "original" Alpha or Beta can tell you how well it worked out for THAT development team when they chose to completely ignore the "minority" of people posting on their feedback forums and instead released an unfinished train wreck onto the world with no plan going forward...
I've given up trying really. This game has turned me into a bitter old man while I've waited for it to get better for 3 years, and now I need to let it go for my own sanity. I hadn't even realized the other thread was deleted till I read a couple posts down and that, coupled with a couple other threads that were deleted with legitimate "problems," have sent me over the deep end.
Right now I'm just waiting it out for the *cannot mention on these forums because it will receive a S&D* to come out so I can relive those moments when the game was ACTUALLY GETTING BETTER WITH TIME NOT WORSE!

Let's just wait for the PS3 players to upgrade to PS4, that will get rid of any plausible excuse to not up the CPU reqs needed to add more shiny.
