Why do people hate on tanky healers?

Let's assume for a second that this yumi yumi character isn't a massive troll and isn't just giving you guys a good trolling.

If you're running a tanky white mage build and having success in turn 1 / 2 / hm primals, good for you. You're overgeared for that fight. We were killing those guys when we were fresh 50s, and I killed my first hm titan as WHM at i63.

You see, you're being successful as a tank whm in those fights because those fights are pretty damn easy. It really doesn't take much to heal / solo heal those fights, so it really doesn't matter how much hp you have. What matters right now are t5 / ex primals. Base your ideas off the hardest content, not the content that came out in September.'

tldr; your gear doesnt matter because those fights don't matter. if you succeed in t5 / ex primals as tanky whm its because your scholar carried you /thread

Lol i love that elitist attitude, you do know that there are still a bunch of people who didn't beat, experience, unlock these so called easy instances that came out in september? Also lol, i bet half of your static groups wouldn't have made much progress if it weren't for strat videos.
Also what truely matters is just clearing any content and having fun, not just ex primals/ coil t5.
I bet once turns 6-9 comes out people will go "watch strat vids please to their statics/ fcs.
All you're doing is just wearing BiS gear and copying the said methods.
Also i usually have a second whm in my PUG party, so yea lol no sch :/

Also zavier how was i carried in turn 1?
Sometimes the other healers gets cleaved and dies and i go lol wut so weakkkk
Then i go heal both tanks till someone else raises the dead healer.
It usually happens during the split.
I can't afford to raise cuz
1) no swiftcast < my bad lol
2) save mp for cures
Cuz i usually use shroud at split so i drop most aggro i accumulated.
You only assumed i was carried cuz u can't possibly imagine a whm doing this.

Eclips is right. You're running bottom-level endgame content with a gimp build - and getting carried. If you want to tank, be a tank. No one else should have to do all the heavy lifting for you just so you can feel clever. Tanking with WHM isn't smart. It means you don't understand how to play your class. If you did, you wouldn't be focused on moronic off-brand builds. You'd be focused on being the best WHM healer you could possibly be ... which, by your own accord, you are a looooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg ways from.

1) You're using shroud wrong.
2) You can't afford to Rez because you're using shroud wrong.
3) Swiftcast can be had in a day. Lazy.
4) Your other healer would probably survive if your output wasn't gimped so hard.

Getting 1 shot or near 1 shotted by a cleave than spat on with the poison thing kinda is a lol damn moment.
Also is shroud not a whm tool for dropping aggro? Also i use it cuz i'm at usually 80% mp at that point so i let it mp regen tick while i heal so after it stops i'm at 70_80% still and not like 30% mp.
And usually i can use 2 shrouds dmuring the split, 1 at the beginning and 1 near the end.
Idk y some whm go like " i'll use it when my drops really low"
Its like u might as well use it an let it refresh later on so u can use it again. Like divine seal.

I was running around as a SCH with 5k HP for a bit. It didn't help as much as I thought it would for things. Not a huge deal on SCH because a lot of things are % based on damage and tank HP. But I would never want to gimp myself by doing it on WHM.

If I see non-tanks stacking Vit (not counting to meet HP reqs for Titan or T5), it means they can't dodge. See them the ground too often since they eat everything and healers just stop healing them after a while.

The SMN with MND accessories? Yeah, he's barely performing his job trying to be a third healer "just in case". The BRD with STR accessories...What is he even thinking?

I've beaten T5 on my scholar, and Solo heal EX primals with my tank build WHM. I handicap myself because this game is that easy. Explain that.
