Thank you very much!Greetings,
The development team is looking into placing limitations on the use of the ready check feature, as this should not be used during battle. In addition, for patch 2.2 they are also discussing making it so the person who initiated the ready check will have their name displayed.
What are you even chirpin' aboot?
"We've confirmed that the team is looking into limiting the use of ready check to outside of battle around patch 2.3."
This? I'm confused. You're confusing me. Stop it.
There it is. I was hoping someone would post Camate's response. Did everyone miss that? Camate looks to be saying something different than Hvinire. What Hvinire said is related to "limiting the use of ready check outside of battle.." To me, it sounds like they are looking into preventing you from spamming it while outside of battle for 2.3. They could still do other things, such as not allow a ready check while in battle, or display the name of the person initiating it as Camate said.Greetings,

Also, for those of you who think it's just a couple of lines of code... That may be true, but those couple lines of code get put into thousands of lines of code, and it'd be foolish to just throw it in there. Programming is not as simple as "Throw this line in here. Okay. We're good now. Testing? Nah. Real programmers do it in production."

I made the window super small and moved it into a corner of the screen that isn't all that important for battle. So, at least there is that work around.
Should be in the hot fixes.
How about just take it away until the limits are put in place. In my opinion, the Ready Check is unnecessary; we ask and say <Ready!> just fine without it.
Let's just assume they meant 2.2 not 2.3?
I doubt it will take them 4 months to fix a simple issue like this...
Keep in mind....XI has -Just- got acc/stat display....after requesting it for a decade.
Nek minit.....QOL from relaunch are still lingering. It's a 'simple', obvious issue which should never have been an issue...had they posted it on forums, or a test server before going live...i assure you it would have been picked up in a few minutes.
Tl;dr: SE MMORPG.
Posting the name of who initiated the check will limit its use out of battle because if one person is spamming it that's harassment and you'd be free to vote-kick them. There it is.
