    Um no. Most MMO games do not do a timed thing. If by timed you mean a week or 24 hours then yes. Sorry one hour time limit just means your too lazy to make a big meaty dungeon. When most mmo gamers are used to 8 hour 13 boss fight raids how this tiny raid idea is a good thing is beyond me. If i want to play for an hour max i would play tetris.

    instanced dungeons in MOST MMOs always have time limits.

    we already have non-instanced dungeons with NMs that doesnt have time limits.
    Cassiopeia Hollow, Nanawa Mines, etc

    It's an unnecessary restriction lol simple as that. Should be able to explore and clear at your own pace, the challenge shouldn't be in friggin zergin the hell outta it and rushing but in harder encounters/battles!!!...... and no this will be one of the very few times I've seen or heard of mmo instancing being timed. As Draco said EVERY thing they release is restricted, typical SE bull****. The game is in bad enough shape yet they still don't understand their players or people who would wanna play. It'll prob be lifted the next patch after anyways... such a waste of time... SE LEARN from you damn mistakes already, this is what got you in this mess in the first place... *facepalm*

    SE reffering to these dungeons as raids is probably another issue in it's own. From my understanding, a 4 man group is a LIGHT party, while an 8 man group is a FULL party. 4 man and 8 man groups groups do not constitute a raid. A raid is a huge undertaking by multiple full party groups together. They might want to amend that wording as well. Again, just my opinion.

    Still no good reason to dislike the limit. "other games don't do it" is laughable.

    Play other games then.

    Easily. Fine examples include Limbus, Nyzul, Salvage (100 minutes, but your argument is against time limits in general).

    Ok, besides FFXI, please name me one meaty dungeon with a time limit on any other MMO. Just one. Please, someone name just one. I have played WOW, Rift, FFXI, EQ2, Runes of Magic, Aion ( for a short time ), Conan ( even shorter ), LOTR, and many others. I dont remember a single timed "Dungeon" besides in FFXI.

    Do you actually know how challenging it is? Have you played in the dungeons yet? There's no reason in raging over something you have no idea of how it's going to play out.

    Its not mentioned but most likely you will actually need more then 60 minutes to complete the dungeon and to unlock extra time you have to complete certain tactical objectives. Don't complete them and you get kicked out. Thats how most of them were in FFXI. I don't know anyone that could actually clear Dynamis in the time alloted, you always had to unlock more time.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Read what Draco said... he didn't say TIME limits, just limits... and it's funny cause u just mentioned stuff above SE did in FF 11 that had time limits... there's your answer ... don't try to disagree just to disagree, read posts properly and fully in the future.
