because people who build those cut to the dime PC think parts and labor is free, and have no idea how to price anything.

A $400 PC would not get you even close to PS4 graphics, $600-$900 retail PC though would probably get you there.

Hobbist pirate windows, strip their old parts, and hunt for the best sales. Then they spend a good 20-100 hours setting up and testing and tuning them with no package warranty.

Basically it's the old "I can renovate my own home" clause. Home Depot is great and all, but it's not the end all.
