So my friend got the chocobo suit from the achievement today and he was so excited to be able to vanity as a chocobo, he asked me how to get the mask, I told him it's a 1.0 remnant and isn't obtainable in the game anymore. As you can imagine he was rather crestfallen about this, as this is the third or fourth time this has happened to him, onion knight armour comes out, he didn't buy 1.0, no helmet for you!! Warrior of light armour comes out, he didn't buy 2.0 CE, no helmet for you!!! Ps4 CE reward, moogle minion and fat chocobo come out, PS4 CE items, he doesn't own a PS4, no minion or mount for you!!!!!

I mean I get having some exclusive items and all but the fact they are releasing sets to everyone then having the final piece exclusive or unobtainable, it's just kind of getting to the point where it's a bit of a dick move.

You can upgrade to CE any time through the mogstation and get any past, preset, and future rewards (even the PS4 ones).

The Chocobo mask will probably return as a new achievement reward at some point. There is quite a bit of chocobo-related content in the works.

apparently all CE owners get the ps4 CE items, so those arent exclusive to only ps4 players.

If you already own the CE edition, the PS4 CE bonus will be given to you automatically.

Well he said he's gonna upgrade to CE now seeing as it's half off on steam, so can tick some of em off the list, but he's still mad that I get to parade my onion helm in front of him when I'm only level 15 lancer and don't even care about the onion set.

From gamer escape ffxiv wiki: Was originally rewarded from the Grand Company achievement Handle with Care III, but after 2.0 launched it was dropped from that achievement. As this item is impossible to get now, the only way you'll see it is if someone has it leftover from 1.0!

So yes it came from caravans.

Oh no wonder I don't have it, had to do it 1000 times, I did it a couple times at most before finding out it was pretty boring and I didn't need GC seals or anything.
