You can upgrade to CE any time through the mogstation and get any past, preset, and future rewards (even the PS4 ones).

The Chocobo mask will probably return as a new achievement reward at some point. There is quite a bit of chocobo-related content in the works.

I'm a legacy that only upgraded to CE in ARR. I don't think I have the onion helmet and the asuran gloves. Also didn't get the moogle hat and cait sith minion that was a bonus from pre-ordering arr. I didn't since I obviously already have an account (did I somehow miss a way to get these two?)

Though for some reason I have the hermes boots. Not sure how I got that..

Actually, that's not correct (in regards to the Hermes Shoes). Hermes Shoes you could only get for a certain period in 1.0 if you also had an active FFXI account, that you then linked with your FFXIV 1.0 account. Any characters created after that point until the offer was canceled would then start with the shoes in their inventory at the start of 1.0.

As this offer has long ended, only characters transferred from version 1.0 with which you had gained the item while it was available will still have it in ARR. You cannot get it anymore for any new characters (I have it on my two ex 1.0 characters for this reason).

Garlond Goggles though was a bonus item voucher which came with the first run of the standard edition of version 1.0, which despite being hard to find, if you can track down the item voucher from it, the item code will still work in ARR. This also goes for the Onion Helm which was a bonus item voucher with the version 1.0 Collector's Edition.

Was just about to post this myself, and speaking of exclusive items getting out of hand, I think all would agree with me when I say that having to buy the Standard and CE to get both items was probably the best example of doing it overboard as most didn't want an additional service account code lol.

I am 100% sure they will add the mask, or something that looks the same, into ARR at some point. They have slowly but surely been making the exclusive event gear available, I cant think of any other achievement gear that isnt available in ARR, it seems silly to do that with a piece of gear that is prominant in every chocobo stable, especially one which completes a set of gear that was just added. The only things they are unlikely to make available though some other means are promotional items (the pre-order and tie-in bonuses) and the ravens earrings.

Be patient, it'll come.
