How many limited-time quest-rewards have already passed?

But they never actually stated they were going to be available 'forever' - they were nothing more than a spur-of-the-moment thing anyway as part of a promotional event at the Tokyo Games Show last year. The Bomb earring especially was added at the eleventh hour when it became apparent that all servers would be getting the Cactuar earring, as it seems they wanted to make the item hard to actually unlock. 1.0 taught me that things may not always be in the game for long, and thus it's best to grab them while you can.

Yeah you're right, it's just a bitter pill to swallow when those items are only level 1 appearance items (but nice to equip when levelling a new class with no alternatives) and may never appear again.

- So its still possible to redeem Onion Helm and Garlond Googles if I have the code? I thought it had the same deadline as Asuran. Well time to search for the codes....Garlond will be a pain to find by the way.
- For Mini-Dalamud, eBay and Amazon r still selling a lot of soundtracks with confirmed DL code. However it has a deadline of December 2014.
- Actually digital Purchase of Collector edition gives the same bonus as retail, Plus PS4 Collector edittion will give them togheter with Fat Chocobo Mount and Moggle Minion (PC and PS3 CE will get those item too). So they r safe to get for long.
And yeah I erase all the quote cause it would eat a LOT of space...

Glamour (Vanity Slots) is comming on 2.2...so they wont be so useless anymore.
And....Light Helm, Onion Helm, Garlond Google and Moggle Helm, gives 20% exp bonus until level 10, they r pretty handy when leveling a new class (From DoW to DoL)

1st Quest - Level 12 Limsa Lolimsa - A fate near Aleport (Forgot area)
2nd Quest - Level 26 Ul'dah - East Thanalan Fate
3rd Quest - Level 38 Gridania - Coerthas Fate
4th Quest - Level 45 Gridania - Mor Dhorna Fate

The first Lightning quest has two FATEs, one is in the far north corner of Middle La Noscea near the zone line, the other in Western La Noscea near Swiftperch.

To get the rest of the Lightning quests, the level 20-30ish one is gained from a npc in Ul'dah near the main gate to the Central Shroud, and the remaining two from a npc in Gridania at Mhi Khetto's Amphitheater.

Just come back to say I redeemed an Onion Helm code, yay they are still valid.
Now I need to find someone selling a Garlond Goggles code.

Its a bit sad that u need level 45 to get all pieces =/ wasnt able to get it on first event...
On other hand you also have to farm low level ones to get quest item to trade for weapons in Limsa Lolimsa (Most of them r cool for vanity and handy on low levels)

Yeah, I got all the weapons, but major bummer the clothes require 45, considering they're still low stats. Still, should be useful for when Vanity slots are eventually added!

Hopefully I can make 45 tonight, or even Sunday; they're the only days I can play now. First a broken hand, and now family decides to come visit me... : /

I got 50 on both characters btw the two events thanks to my vacations...
But my gf didnt have that...luck....Im thinking how to get her to that this weekend. She's 34 atm...
