Been there done that. There's almost no incentive for us anymore to spam FATEs as most of us already have complete jobs, aside from the credits ofcourse.
That's why I'm asking the devs to put FC credits in instanced dungeons, that's what they're trying to implement since 2.1 patch anyway.
If anyone thinks that this suggestion is spoon-feeding, think again. We'll still work our ass of to gain FC Credits, and by no means handling it to us easier. We just want another option of farming FC Credits equivalent to the FC Credits rewards from spamming FATEs.
Sure we can use DoL to gather points, but here's the thing, it's a 1:1 ratio, and we need atleast 3,010 clicks / day just to save for Tier 1 buff. How much more for the Tier 2 buff that costs 6,020 credits? And that's for a single "non-gamebreaking" buff alone.
Assuming we're at Rank 8, you need atleast 6,020 credits (T1 buff) and 12,040 credits (T2 buff) / day so that we can atleast enjoy the purpose of having a Free Company buff / day.

i don't see what the issue is we have well over 6 million credits cant spend them fast enough. Do things together as a free company / helping your members and have a larger player base and better community.

Not everyone likes having a large Free Company when 80% of the members don't even know each other. So nope. And I bet those credits were farmed pre 2.1. It's so easy to farm those due to players spamming FATEs left and right.
What I'm talking is about the situation post 2.1, where small or even large free companies are having a hard time to earn credits. But then again, Large Free Companies won't get affected by this (for now), because they already farmed so much pre 2.1.

What if they scaled back on the base cost of FC buffs, and then scaled up the final cost depending on a combination of FC Rank, Size, and Standing?
Good idea. But it'll be more complicated.
Either lower the buffs cost, or give players another option to farm them rather than FATE spamming.

they were not farmed via fates the points come from all things done in game essentially so the more that you do together as a free company the more points you will gain.... saying it was all gained pre 2.1 is far from true... we gain more points daily then we can still spend I can post another shot in a week to show even spending 12k_ credits every 24 hours is nothing. You can not expect to attain the same benefits of a large free company if you do not take the time to know the members, work together and enjoy the community. They were made a large size for a reason. I just wish that they made the housing system and credits worth while, all the points are utterly useless. To say that an eight man fc should get all the same points and benefits of a 200 person fc to me is a waste of breathe. MMO's are about community and is a good reason to start cultivating one is a large free company.
...No thanks. I'd rather have a small to mid-sized fc where everyone knows each other. Having hundreds of members shouldn't be the only way to get a decent amount FC points.
